SECOND ASCENT CLINIC

  • 5 hour clinic
  • Early intermediate level
  • Review of basic equipment and knots
  • Rope-handling and belay efficiency
  • Intermediate climbing techniques
  • Enhancing efficiency in movement
  • On-the-crag decision-making and error correction
  • Descent options
  • Great follow-up to "First Ascent"
  • Can be taken more than once

If you have taken our First Ascent clinic (or have similar experience), this is the perfect follow-up. We’ll take the new set of skills you have been shown and help you apply them with greater confidence and understanding on climbs of a different character or difficulty. You’ll be amazed at how efficiently you move on the rock and how smoothly you handle the rope once you have a little experience under your belt. Whether it’s been a day, or a week, or a year since your first class, you’ll find that things really click on this second day.
